1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information: name, email address, and profile picture (via Google OAuth or email sign-in)
• Content: screen recordings, video titles, annotations, and project files you upload to the Service
• Payment information: billing details processed and stored by Stripe — we never store your raw card data
• Communications: messages you send to us for support

We also automatically collect certain usage data including:

• Video view counts and viewer IP addresses (for rate limiting)
• Browser and device type
• Pages visited within the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process transactions and send related information
• Send technical notices and support messages
• Generate AI transcriptions of your videos using Deepgram (if enabled)
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
• Enforce our Terms of Service

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Cloudflare R2 (video storage), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Deepgram (AI transcription), Vercel (hosting). Each is bound by data processing agreements.
• Public sharing: Video content you mark as public and share via a link is accessible to anyone with that link.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Your Content and Storage

Your recordings are stored encrypted at rest on Cloudflare R2. We do not access, view, or analyze your video content except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., generating a transcription when you enable that feature).

When you delete a video, it is removed from our database immediately and from cloud storage within 24 hours. When you delete your account, all associated content is purged within 30 days.

5. AI Transcription

If enabled, your video audio is sent to Deepgram's API for transcription. Deepgram processes the audio and returns a word-level transcript. We store this transcript in your video record. Deepgram's use of your audio is governed by Deepgram's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. Our analytics are limited to server-side view counting with IP-based rate limiting.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@grava.video.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
